How to recognise OEM Taycan rims

Only OEM rims of first-class quality are worthy of this automotive masterpiece. From a functional and aesthetic point of view, they complement the e-sports car perfectly. But also with regard to the Porsche Approved Warranty, you should only use original parts for your Taycan.
If you invest in original rims or wheel and tyre packages for your Porsche Taycan, you should be able to check their authenticity yourself. With the items in our shop, this is easily possible using the part number. This unique identification number allows parts to be clearly assigned to the original manufacturer. For the Porsche Taycan, the number always starts with 9J1, followed by further numbers and letters. You will find the code on the inside of the Rim. Also engraved there is a triangular symbol with the characteristic P. So you can enjoy the secure feeling of receiving a genuine original part in our shop.
The perfect accessories for your Taycan rims

In detail: the dimensions of the rims and tires
You will find detailed specifications on the product pages of the wheels and tyre packages in our online shop. This should enable you to make a well-informed purchase decision. To do this, it is important to familiarise yourself with the meaning of the data. Below we explain what information you can read from the parameters.
Example of a rim designation: 9J x 20 ET50
- The first number expresses the rim width in inches, here 9 inches
- The letter J indicates that this is the rim flange design for passenger cars.
- The number after the x indicates the rim diameter in inches, in this example it is 20 inches.
- The abbreviation ET stands for the offset, i.e. the distance between the inner contact surface of the Rim and the centre of the wheel.
- You can read the offset in millimetres from the number after ET, in this case it is 50 millimetres.
The following applies: the greater the offset, the further the Rim protrudes inwards - and vice versa. You can find the parameters for the OEM Porsche rims for your Taycan under "Rim details" on the product page.
Mixed tyres on your Taycan
On the product pages of our OEM Porsche rims and wheel and tyre packages, the rim designation is listed for the front axle (VA) and the rear axle (HA). On the Taycan, the inch sizes for the front and rear are the same. The difference lies in the tyre width, which is always larger on the rear axle.

Porsche Approved Guarantee
Tires of impeccable, repeatedly tested quality allow you to keep the Porsche Approved Warranty for your Taycan. You can only make use of this in the event of a warranty claim if an approved wheel/tyre combination is installed on your vehicle. Accordingly, in addition to OEM Porsche rims, excellently manufactured tires are also crucial. Note the inch size: 21-inch wheels on the Taycan are not approved for winter use in terms of the warranty conditions.
The "N marking"
The so-called N marking is a special marking that Porsche awards exclusively to tires from the premium segment. On the Taycan e-sports car, it is NF0. If a tire bears the Porsche-specific seal of approval, this indicates impeccable material quality, precise workmanship and impeccable functionality. This ensures that the tires harmonise with the car manufacturer's values: outstanding performance, absolute safety and a comfortable driving experience.
Renowned tyre brands
Porsche cooperates exclusively with hand-picked tyre manufacturers who have been proving their high production standards for decades. These include Continental, Michelin and Pirelli. Their tires for summer and/or winter are characterised by outstanding physical properties and extraordinary durability. For summer, the resilient tires from Hankook complete the selection. In addition to the aforementioned brands, Goodyear is also a typical manufacturer of winter tires for the Taycan.
