Porsche Approved Warranty and Tire Approval – what you should know
With your Panamera, you benefit from the Porsche Approved warranty, which for example offers attractive savings on repairs. However, you can only take advantage of this exclusive service if only parts in original Porsche quality are installed on your vehicle.
This requirement from the car manufacturer also applies to rims. If you want to maintain your warranty claim, then for your Panamera 970, Panamera 971 or Panamera 976 only OEM rims or wheel and tire packages are suitable.
Porsche tire approval
Selected wheel and tire packages are fitted with tires approved by Porsche. They can be identified by the so-called N-marking of the car manufacturer. This marking is only awarded to tire models that meet the highest quality standards in terms of handling, performance, and safety.
For this purpose, Porsche works closely with renowned tire manufacturers such as Michelin or Pirelli. If the tire model passes the intensive, multi-stage tests, it receives the Porsche tire approval. This N-marking differs depending on the vehicle model or generation:

Since the launch of the first generation 970 (also called Panamera G1) in 2009, the Panamera has impressed with its aerodynamic design and clean lines. Combined with the powerful V6 or V8 engine, it has always created the perfect symbiosis of comfort, luxury, and performance.
In 2016, the long-awaited second generation of the celebrated model – the Panamera 971 – was released. It features a refined design and technical updates, the latter primarily including all-wheel drive, whereas the 970 was still standard with rear-wheel drive. The second generation also impresses in terms of power. One example is the hybrid variant, which in the Panamera 971 is the most powerful version. The Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, with the combination of a V8 engine and an electric motor, delivers an impressive 680 hp – from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. Since 2024, the third generation of this versatile model has been available. Just like its predecessors, the Panamera 976 is divided into various sub-models such as Panamera 4, S, 4S, and E-Hybrid. Among the sportiest variants are the Panamera GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S.
